The differences between them are not cosmetic — which pricing system applies, whether the carrier adds a fuel surcharge, and whether EuroBonus charges double points decide what the same trip actually costs.

The airlines
SAS has been a SkyTeam member since 1 September 2024, and awards on SAS-operated flights are priced from SAS's own chart. Everything else is priced from the partner chart. Which chart applies is decided by who operates the flight, not by who you book with.

Fuel surcharge: the biggest difference
The points price is only half of it. Some carriers add a fuel surcharge (YQ) on top of the points and others do not — that single difference matters most for what an award ticket actually costs. Without a surcharge: SAS, Delta, Korean Air, ITA Airways, Aeroméxico, Air Europa.

Double points
China Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Air Europa price EuroBonus award tickets at double points. A trip on one of these therefore costs twice the chart price, and a low figure in search is not necessarily a bargain. Check the price before you book.
TAP Air Portugal is the exception
TAP Air Portugal is not a SkyTeam member, but EuroBonus holds a separate bilateral agreement with it. That means its own points chart and its own combination rule: a TAP segment can be combined with SAS on the same ticket, but never with a SkyTeam partner. Flights marked Portugália or World2Fly are TAP's own fleet on a TP number, not separate partners.

China Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Air Europa are priced at double points by EuroBonus. That is a property of the airline, not of the route, so the same segment can cost double on one carrier and the standard price on another.
Can I combine several partners on one award ticket?
SkyTeam partners can be combined with each other and with SAS on the same award ticket. TAP Air Portugal is the exception: a TAP segment can only be combined with SAS, never with a SkyTeam partner on the same ticket.
