- How many points is an award ticket?
- It depends on the zone, the cabin, and whether SAS or a SkyTeam partner operates the flight. EuroBonus award prices are set by chart, so the points figure for a given route and cabin does not move with the date or with demand. What changes is whether a seat is open, which is what this search answers.
- How often is availability re-checked?
- On a uniform cadence: every date inside the 330-day horizon is re-scanned on the same schedule, so no part of the window is systematically staler than another. The exact time of the last check is printed on each result, which is more useful than an average.
- Does Bonusinsider show taxes and surcharges?
- No. We publish the points price and the availability. The cash side of an award, meaning taxes, airport charges and any fuel surcharge, is quoted by the airline in its own booking flow, and that is the only binding source for it. We show nothing there rather than an estimate that would look like a price.
- Can I search a return trip in one go?
- Yes. A return search reads both directions and lays them side by side, so an outbound and an inbound can be compared without running two searches and holding the results in your head. It is included from the Pro plan up.
- Why does a search here answer faster than an airline's booking site?
- Because it is not asking the airline anything at the moment you press search. The scanners record availability continuously and the search reads that record, so the work has already been done. The cost of that arrangement is stated on the row: each result shows when it was last checked.
